There is a Japanese model manufacturer named Bandai. Several years ago, just about the time Disney bought the franchise, Bandai was contracted to produce the models associated with the Star Wars universe.
Because these models are widely available, inexpensive and of exceptionally high quality, it has become a recent trend to modify the kits into alternative stories and designs. (The pack mule isn’t from Bandai. It’s just a toy dinosaur which has been heavily modified.)
